Parents’ Day 2025 – Experience Student Life at Zernike
Have you ever tried explaining your student life to your parents, caregivers, or siblings—only to be met with blank stares? This is your chance to show them what it’s really like!
On Friday, May 23rd, the Parents’ Day Committee invites you and your family to Zernike Campus, Groningen, for a day filled with chemistry, engineering, and a glimpse into student life. From lectures to lab tours, and even a pub quiz, they’ll get the full experience—minus the instant noodles.
What to expect?
Preliminary schedule
10:00 - 12:00 | Morning program – Your parents will step into your academic world with engaging lectures and a taste of chemistry and engineering.
12:00 - 13:00 | Lunch break (provided by the university) – A well-deserved break with food provided.
13:00 - 17:00 | Afternoon program – Campus & Lab Tour and Pub Quiz – An interactive exploration of labs, campus facilities, and student life beyond the lecture halls. And a final challenge to see whose parents are the best students!
