Dear members,

On the 24th of March, the BACo is organizing a company borrellecture! The lecture will be given by Hugo van Oosterhout, who did his PhD at the university of Groningen and is now Chief Chemist at Zeolyst c.v. We will first have a 30-45 minute presentation about the company and his work, followed by a (networking)drink at the Luchtbrug.

Zeolyst c.v. was established in Delfzijl in 1990 and is a joint venture between Shell and Ecovyst incorporation. We have a unique perspective on chemistry and apply it to develop revolutionary products that provide solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow. With over 400 colleagues worldwide we develop and produce zeolites that serve as an intermediate for catalysts in the (petro)chemical and automotive industry. Besides the Zeolites are used for the production of renewable fuels and many other processes. As a result, fuels are cleaner, exhaust gases are cleaned and the emissions of greenhouse gasses are reduced.

A wide range of standard, commercially available zeolites and the possibility to provide customization means that we have built up a great name in the industry. Do you want to use zeolite in a process? Then Zeolyst is up for the task.
